宾语从句的that能省略吗

学习英语语法难，首要的问题就是：不会划分句子成分。英文语法是针对英语语言表达进行分析后，系统化归纳总结出去的一系列语言表达规则。

宾语从句的that能省略吗？

1、宾语从句中的that可以省略。

2、定语从句中假如引导词that在从句中充当宾语，可以省略。

宾语从句：I promise that I will study hard.这里的that可以省略。

定语从句 This is the factory that we visited yesterday.这里的that可以省略。

但是在这句中：This is the factory that lies in Guangzhou.这里的that做主语，不能省略。

宾语从句的that在哪些情况下不可省略？

1、that引导主语从句、表语从句、同位语从句时不能省略。

2、宾语从句不止一个时，不能省略。

they complain（that）they have to do homework from morning till night,that it is hard to study good,that they are very tired。是连续的宾语从句时，第一个可省，后面都不行。

3、宾语从句与主语之间有插入语时，不可省

the teacher said,happy and firmly（插入语）that we must do homework.

4、主句中的动词后有 2 个或以上的宾语从句，后面的 that 不可省。

I think (that) it will clear up this afternoon and that（不可省略）they will come to say good-bye to us. 我认为今天下午天会放晴，他们会来向我们告别的。

5、当 that 从句单独用来回答问题时，that不可省略。

What did he say at the meeting? 他在会上说了什么？

That the situation was serious. 目前的局势很严重。

6、在较为正式或不常用的动词，如reply, object后，that不可省略。

He replied that he badly mastered the language。他回答说他的语言掌握得很差。

7、这 6 个介词：besides、beyond、but、except、in、save 后的宾语从句 that 不可省。

The man stood quite still, except that his lips moved slightly。那个人站着一动不动，只是嘴巴还微微在动。

I have heard nothing beyond that he is ill。除了他病了，我什么也没听到。

8、当 it 作形式宾语时，后接的宾语从句 that 不可省。

We have made it clear that we will learn to deal with various difficult problems。我们已经表明，我们将学会处理各种难题。
