zero的复数形式

zero有两种词性，一个是做名词，表示零点；零度，一个是做数词，表示零。

zero的复数形式：

1、如果zero作为名词表示“零的数量”，则它的复数形式为zeros，即在词尾加上“s”。

例如：

There are two zeros in the number 200.

数字200里有两个零。

The scale measures weights in grams, kilograms, and zeros.

天平以克、公斤和零为单位测量重量。

2、如果zero作为名词表示“零点”，则它的复数形式为zeroes，即在词尾加上“es”。

例如：

The temperature has dropped below freezing, and it’s now minus five degrees and six zeroes.

气温降到零度以下，现在零下五度零六度。

The bank account has four zeroes after the decimal point.

银行账户小数点后有四个零。

英语中常见的时间表达方式：

一、年月日的英语表达：

英语中年月日的表达和汉语的顺序有所不同，主要有两种：

日期用基数词和序数词皆可。

1、最常见的月日年。

2023年1月14日：January 14(th), 2023.

2、完全倒装的日月年。

2023年1月14日： 14(th) January, 2023.

二、时分的英语表达：

1、整点的表达。

0点整：zero o'clock.

10点整： ten o'clock.

2、时分的表达。

8点20分：eight twenty.

3、时间在半小时之内和之外的另外的表达方式。

（1）时间在半小时之内：分钟+ past +小时。

8点20分：twenty past eight.

（2）时间在半小时之外：分钟+ to +下一小时。

8点40分：twenty to nine.

4、时间恰好为半小时和15分钟（一刻钟）的另外的表达方式。

（1）时间为半小时：half + past +小时。

8点30分：half + past + eight.

（2）时间为15分钟（一刻钟）：

8时15分：a quarter past eight.

8时45分：a quarter to nine.
