no sooner倒装句的时态

no sooner的意思是 一... 就 ...，这个词组在英语中用的比较多，同时也是考试中的重点，no sooner的倒装句与时态要熟练掌握，这样才能在考试中少失分。

no sooner倒装句的时态：

no sooner...than...是一个固定的倒装结构，用来表示一个动作或事件紧接着另一个动作或事件发生，为了强调时间先后顺序，表示一.......，就立刻......。

这个搭配注意两点：

一是对时态有要求，含有no sooner的主句用过去完成时，含有than的从句用一般过去时。

二是汉语中含有“一”的动作用no sooner引导，而no sooner的位置在过去完成时态had与过去分词中间。than引导的从句务必有主语，汉语中通常是省略主语的。

“no sooner ... than ... 一... 就 ...” 这个搭配在高中阶段常常倒装。no sooner放在句首，过去完成时态构成中的had提前到主语前面。than引导的从句不变化。

I had no sooner got home than it began to rain.

→No sooner had I got home than it began to rain.

我刚一到家就下起雨来了。

no sooner than和hardly when的区别：

1、no sooner…than的时间间隔比hardly…when...的时间间隔要长一些。

（1）no sooner…than的意思是“刚做完A这件事，就去做B这件事”。如果no sooner 位于句首，主句要用倒装结构。

例句：

No sooner had he arrived than he went away again.

他刚到就又走了。

No sooner had the game started than it began to rain heavily.

运动会刚开始，天就下起了大雨。

（2）hardly…when...的意思是“几乎还没来得及做完A这件事，紧接着就开始B这件事。”另外要注意的是，如果把hardly放于句首，此时句要用倒装结构即谓语动词要提前。

例句：

Hardly had I finished eating when he came in.

我刚吃完他就进来了。

He had hardly finished the article when the light went out.

他刚写完文，灯就熄了。

2、用于的时态不同。

no sooner…than主句用过去完成时，从句用一般过去时。

hardly…when...一般用于过去完成时。

3、侧重点不同。

no sooner than：句子的关系更加松散；hardly when：句子的关系更加的紧凑。

no sooner than和as soon as区别：

1、表达意义不同：

no sooner than，翻译为“一…就…”。

as soon as，翻译为“一…就…”，语法注意主将从现。意思是尽可能的快，一般用于词组as soon as possible（缩写ASAP）。

2、它们两个所表达事情的间隔时间不同。

as soon as 较长，no sooner...than相对短一些。

（1）as soon as：意思相当于 A事情发生以后，就做B这件事情。

例如：

I'll write you as soon as I get there.

我一到那儿就给你来信。（一般现在时）

As soon as I went in,Katherine cried out with pleasure.

我一进门，Katherine就高兴的叫起来。（一般过去时）

（2）no sooner...than：它的意思相当于刚做完A这件事，就做了B这件事。

例如：

He had no sooner returned than he bought a house.

他一回来就买了一套房子。
