① bewilder的语气较重，表示使人陷入一种惊奇、茫然、局促不安的境地。

例：

The way he changes his mind three or four times a day is utterly bewildering.

② confuse（put into disorder，mix up in the mind）指因混淆而产生迷乱，把事情弄错，语气最轻微，词义最广泛。
